Borugula upma




Murmura or borugullu (puffed rice) - 4 large cups
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 3
Eggplant - 1 small
Salt
Turmeric powder
Talimpu or Poppu ingredients 
Oil 2 tbps

Soak puffed rice for about 3 to 5 mins .Remove from water keep aside .cut onion ,green chilli,eggplant into pieces.
          In a pan add oil ,mustered seeds,jeera,urad seeds,red chilli and roast for a while then fry onion,green chilli,eggplant,turmeric powder , salt .Let them cook for 2 mins by closing it with a lid.Now add puffed rice and let it heat .At last add some drops of lemon juice for taste.

Onion dosa



Dosa/idly batter
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 2
Dalia powder ( optional )
Ghee 

Take some dosa or idly batter into a bowl mix well with backing powder a pinch by adding some water.
Heat a flat pan spread some batter it should be thick enough now sprinkle finely chopped onions, chilli
roast it on both the sides .At the end sprinkle dalia powder with some ghee for more taste.serve hot with any chutney.

Chapathi



Wheat flour - 2 cups
Slat 
Oil

     In a bowl add the wheat flour ,salt ,oil and mix well adding water to make a thick dough which does not stick to hand .keep it aside for 1 hr optional .Divide the dough into small balls by using flour make the balls to flat apply oil and fold it 2 times . Again press the dough. Now heat the pan fry the dough on both the sides for chapathis.

Potato fry

Potatoes - 4
Oil
Red chillis 
Garlic - 2
Salt

   Cut the potatoes into pieces and keep them in salt water to avoid colour change of potato.
Grind garlic cloves ,red chillies with salt. Now heat the pan add some oil then add potatoes fry them until they are crispy .Now sprinkle the grounded powder on fried potatoes.


Upma



Samolina -1cup
Oil - 1/4th cup
Vegetables 
Green chillis
Onions -1
Salt
Turmeric powder a pinch
Lemon 
Talimpu ingredients 

      Heat the pan add oil once heated add mustard seeds ,jeera, chana dal,urad dal in small amounts .
Cut the vegetables into pieces these are mandatory you any four like carrots,beans,peas,tomato, etc.,
Add chilli, onion,vegetables ,turmeric and salt cover with a lid until they become soft.
      Now pour 3 cups of water bring to boil .once it's boiling with bubbles add samolina slowly and stir simultaneously .cook for 5 mins.
  For some extra taste add lemon juice 2tps at last add some coriander leaves for appearance.

Note: Before the process if samolina was roasted slightly to brownish colour it may leads to different taste where stirring will be easy because it won't get sticky which is optional.

Batter for idly



Urad dal : 1 cup
Idly rice : 3-4 cups
Salt
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4tbsp ( optional )

Soak both urad dal ,idly rice separately for 4 hrs .Grind the urad dal into fine smooth thick paste for about 20 mins In a grinder or mixer.Remove it and now ground idly rice for 15 mins .Now take it out to urad dal paste and mix the whole paste with some salt.
       Keep it aside  6 hrs for fermentation.Add soda powder before it is used for idly .

Note: The batter can be used for making dosa also.

Coffee

For a pleasant morning or an evening starts with coffee which is a simple way to refresh your mind.

Coffee powder - 1spoon
Sugar -1 spoon
Whole milk - 1 glass

Boil the milk add coffee powder and sugar to it .Mix them well if we use two glasses for mixing them the coffee comes out tasty.

Pesarattu-kobbera chutney




Green moong dal - 2cups
Salt

Soak dal for 5-6 hrs and then grind it into paste using mixer. Then heat the pan pour this thick batter onto the pan .Roast it with required oil.

Chutney for pesarattu  - Grind  some green chillis, with a small piece of ginger then add salt and 
Dalia .Make it a smooth paste .At last keep some talimpu which shown in the last posts.

Note:  For taste you can add onions with roasting pesarattu.
